Extra Costs Calculator

This tool is for EXTRA (out-of-scope) costs only — when the CLIENT changes the brief after we've delivered or shown a preview. If we missed the brief, fixing it is a free regular change. Changes within your contracted revision rounds are also free — don't enter any of those here.

Each shot has exactly one change-type charge — a general round, a lighting change, or a camera change. They don't stack, because lighting and camera tariffs are all-in (they already include producing the next preview).

• General change = a flat round by complexity: $500 (simple) / $1,000 (medium) / $1,500 (complex).
• Lighting change = 40% of the shot's price, all-in — it already includes producing the next preview, so there's no separate round on top.
• Camera angle — Minor (slight rotation, nothing new to build) = 30%; Major (reveals new areas to build) = 40% of the shot price. Both all-in.
• Model change — the master model is charged once for the whole project: $900 for a single building or $2,500 for a master-plan project; plus $500 per affected scene. A scene that hasn't started previews yet (still Modelling / Camera Angles) is free — the new model just gets used when previews begin.

Set the master-model fee once below, then add a card per shot, set its Stage, type the shot price, pick the change type, and tick a scene model update if needed. The grand total updates live.
